The name ‘Qadiman’  reflects my respect and fascination for the breed’s history, and how we can see traces of it all the way back to antique times. In my art history studies, I was fascinated by the traces of the slender hounds, or ‘Tesem’, an hieroglyph of en ancient hound. ‘Qadiman’ is a word that means ‘ancient’, and to ‘honor time’. It is important to preserve the breed and avoid extremities. I believe that by looking back, we can better understand and preserve the breed’s unique characteristics for future generations.
